Project Manager – Cloud & Infrastructure Deployments

About the role

Iomart is seeking a driven, customer‑focused Project Manager to lead technical change across its UK data‑centre network. Based in Glasgow, you will act as the primary customer‑facing partner, ensuring seamless deployment of cloud and infrastructure solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Own delivery of customer solutions, including migration, VSD/VSF and transition projects.
• Provide clear, confident communication throughout the project lifecycle.
• Collaborate with network, infrastructure support and data‑centre teams to align delivery.
• Use modern SaaS project‑management tools to bring structure, pace and transparency.
• Lead workshops that drive alignment, governance and execution.
• Identify risks early, resolve challenges quickly and keep projects on track.
• Ensure smooth onboarding and high‑quality handover to operational support.

Required profile

• Experience delivering technical projects in cloud, MSP or IT change environments (preferred).
• Enjoy customer‑facing roles and can translate complex technical updates into clear communication.
• Highly organised with a proven record of delivering projects on time and within scope.
• Comfortable working across technical platforms and guiding customers with credibility.
• Adaptable mindset, thriving in fast‑paced environments.
• Willingness to work occasional out‑of‑hours.

Required skills

• Project management certifications (e.g., PRINCE2 Practitioner or equivalent).
• Proficiency with SaaS project‑management tools.
• Knowledge of cloud infrastructure and migration processes.
