Project Manager – Construction Consultancy

About the role

Watsham Consulting is seeking a Project Manager to lead delivery of construction projects across the UK. Based in Bristol, you will act as an extension of client teams, providing practical advice and hands‑on support throughout the project lifecycle.

Key responsibilities

• Lead day‑to‑day project delivery, maintaining programme updates, risk registers and stakeholder communications.
• Provide trusted advice to clients, helping them navigate delivery challenges and make informed decisions.
• Coordinate designers, contractors and client stakeholders to ensure outcomes meet expectations.
• Drive programme momentum, aligning teams on priorities, responsibilities and next steps.
• Prepare and manage procurement processes, including tender documentation, evaluation support and contract negotiations.
• Build strong relationships with client teams and embed within their organisation.
• Contribute to project strategy development, business case preparation and end‑stage reporting.

Required profile

• 2+ years’ experience in project management or a related professional services environment.
• Proven track record delivering property or built‑environment projects.
• Experience working in complex stakeholder environments with the ability to build trust quickly.
• Knowledge of NEC and JCT contract frameworks preferred.
