Project Manager – Construction & Development (Glasgow)

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead high‑profile construction and development projects for a respected consultancy in Glasgow. You will own projects from feasibility through to handover, working closely with clients, consultants and contractors.

Key responsibilities

• Lead projects through the full lifecycle, from feasibility and planning to completion and handover.
• Act as the principal point of contact for clients and key stakeholders.
• Develop and manage project programmes, budgets and delivery strategies.
• Coordinate consultants, contractors and multidisciplinary project teams.
• Monitor performance, identify and mitigate risks.
• Chair project meetings and ensure actions are delivered.
• Prepare and deliver programme, financial and risk reporting.
• Support procurement activities and contract administration.
• Monitor quality throughout design and construction phases.
• Ensure compliance with contractual obligations and industry best practice.
• Manage project costs, change control and financial milestones.
• Build strong relationships with clients and project partners.

Required profile

• Proven experience delivering construction or property projects within a consultancy or client‑side environment.
• Degree in Project Management, Construction Management, Quantity Surveying, Engineering, Architecture, Building Surveying or a related discipline.
• Strong knowledge of project delivery, procurement routes and construction contracts.
• Excellent organisational and stakeholder management abilities.
• Strong commercial awareness.
