Project Manager – Construction Projects

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead the delivery of construction projects for a well‑established client operating across commercial, education, healthcare and refurbishment sectors. Reporting to senior management, you will be responsible for day‑to‑day site operations, ensuring projects are completed safely, on schedule and within budget.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and coordinate all aspects of site operations to meet contractual requirements.
• Lead site teams, subcontractors and labour resources to achieve programme and quality targets.
• Maintain health and safety compliance in line with legislation and company procedures.
• Act as the primary contact for clients, subcontractors and internal stakeholders.
• Monitor progress against the project programme and implement corrective actions.
• Coordinate labour, plant and material logistics to support efficient delivery.
• Review workmanship, quality standards and subcontractor performance.
• Prepare and present progress updates for site meetings and management reviews.

Required profile

• Proven experience managing construction projects of similar scale.
• Strong understanding of health and safety regulations.
• Ability to lead multidisciplinary teams and manage subcontractors.
• Excellent communication and problem‑solving skills.

What we offer

• Salary between £50,000 and £60,000 per annum, dependent on experience.
• Monday‑Friday 08:00‑17:00 schedule with an earlier finish on Fridays.
