About the Role
Join Pick Everard, a firm dedicated to shaping a sustainable built environment through professionalism, compassion, and dynamism. We are looking for an ambitious Assistant Project Manager or Project Manager to join our growing Glasgow office and take a significant step in their professional career.
In this role, you will play a pivotal part in delivering high-standard projects for a prestigious client within the Defense sector. You will be responsible for ensuring all deliverables meet contractual specifications, quality standards, and strict timelines within a supportive and mentoring-rich environment.
Main Missions
- Define client requirements and specifications from the outset, collaborating with and organizing various consultants.
- Coordinate and manage communications between the client, project stakeholders, and consultants to ensure all requirements are met.
- Develop, implement, and manage comprehensive project programmes.
- Manage project changes and coordinate the design process.
- Supervise and control projects both pre- and post-contract, including rigorous financial expenditure control across all RIBA stages.
- Draft and distribute essential project documentation, including Project Execution Plans (PEP), strategy reports, risk registers, and progress reports.
Candidate Profile
- Proven experience in project management or a strong desire to progress from an Assistant level to a Project Manager role.
- A positive attitude with a proactive willingness to tackle new and complex challenges.
- Ability to work within a fast-paced, national team environment.
- Must be able to obtain and maintain necessary security clearance for Defense sector projects.
