Project Manager – Digital Transformation (Contract)

About the role

This contract position is for a Project Manager who will lead complex digital transformation and marketing technology programmes across a regional portfolio, primarily UK‑based with some international exposure. You will work closely with clients and delivery partners, guiding projects from initiation through to successful completion while aligning outcomes with business objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Lead end‑to‑end project lifecycles, including estimation, planning, execution, risk, budget and timeline management.
• Validate solutions, define requirements and oversee delivery across the full project lifecycle.
• Engage and manage stakeholders at all levels, presenting progress and outcomes to senior and executive audiences.
• Drive continuous improvement and innovation across digital platforms.
• Coordinate multiple workstreams or large programmes in a hybrid, distributed‑team environment.

Required profile

• Proven experience delivering digital marketing, automation, campaign or content management projects.
• Background in a software vendor or complex delivery environment, or a mix of vendor/client roles.
• Strong commercial awareness, including forecasting, resource planning and financial tracking.
• Professional project‑management certification and/or consulting experience preferred.
• Fluent English; additional European languages are a plus.

What we offer

• Day rate of £550–£600 (Inside IR35)
• 6‑month contract with an ASAP start
• Hybrid work model – approximately three days per week in the London office
