Project Manager – Engineering Installations

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead multiple engineering installation projects from contract award through to final handover. The role combines on‑site presence in London with remote working, allowing you to manage project programmes, budgets and stakeholder relationships across the full project lifecycle.

Key responsibilities

• Manage projects from contract award through to completion and final handover.
• Develop project programmes, budgets and cash‑flow forecasts.
• Coordinate launch meetings with clients, suppliers and internal teams.
• Review technical designs, specifications and installation requirements.
• Procure materials, subcontractors and labour to ensure successful delivery.
• Monitor progress, milestones, resource allocation and control costs.
• Administer subcontractor packages, final accounts and payment applications.
• Build strong relationships with clients, consultants and site teams.
• Attend progress meetings and provide regular updates.
• Ensure works comply with industry regulations, health & safety standards and quality requirements.
• Lead and mentor project teams, engineers and subcontractors.
• Identify risks early and implement practical solutions.

Required profile

• Proven experience managing engineering, building services or technical installation projects.
• Strong commercial and budget management capabilities.
• Experience coordinating multiple subcontractors and workstreams.
• Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications.
• Excellent communication and organisational skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
• Full UK Driving Licence, CSCS Card and SMSTS qualification.
