Project Manager – Health Sector (Healthcare Projects)

About the role

Gleeds is seeking a motivated Project Manager to lead and support the delivery of public‑sector healthcare projects across Cheshire, North Wales and beyond. You will work within a collaborative Programme and Project Management team, building strong client relationships and ensuring project excellence from business case through to completion.

Key responsibilities

• Support delivery of complex health sector projects from business case to handover.
• Build and maintain collaborative client relationships.
• Coordinate day‑to‑day project activities and reporting.
• Assist with procurement, tender processes and NEC4 contract administration.
• Prepare high‑quality reports and presentations.
• Monitor project performance, risk and financial control.
• Work within multidisciplinary teams and contribute to business development.
• Escalate risks and issues to senior leadership as required.

Required profile

• Experience working within the health sector (preferred).
• Exposure to NEC4 contracts.
• Experience supporting Business Case stage delivery.
• Public sector project experience.
• Practical project management experience in construction or consultancy.
• Understanding of construction procurement strategies and building contract legislation.
• Professional membership or progress towards MRICS, MAPM or MCIOB.

Required skills

• Proficiency with MS Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
• Familiarity with NEC4 contract processes.
