Project Manager – HS2 Infrastructure

About the role

Skanska is seeking a Project Manager to lead delivery of the HS2 Main Works, including 26 miles of tunnels, viaducts, bridges and embankments between London Euston and West Ruislip. The role involves coordinating project completion, assurance and handover activities across multiple stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate progressive project completion, assurance deliverables and acceptance activities across project assets.
• Build and maintain effective relationships with project teams, clients, stakeholders and third parties.
• Promote collaborative project delivery through clear communication and stakeholder engagement.
• Act as a key point of coordination between delivery, engineering, quality, assurance, information management and client teams.
• Ensure handover deliverables are planned, produced, reviewed, assured, accepted and transferred per project requirements.
• Work closely with planning, delivery and technical teams to integrate assurance activities into programmes.
• Monitor and report on handover deliverable progress, status, risks and KPIs using trackers and dashboards.
• Identify, track and manage actions, risks and issues impacting project completion or acceptance.

Required profile

• Experience on main contractor or large construction projects.
• Proven line management experience.
• Degree‑level education or equivalent.
• Relevant professional membership and CSCS Card.

Required skills

• Computer competence: MS Word, Excel, document control system, Power BI.
