Project Manager – Industrial Unit Construction

About the role

The role involves leading the delivery of a new large‑scale industrial unit in Ellesmere Port. Reporting to the Construction Director, you will manage the full project lifecycle from detailed planning through to handover.

Key responsibilities

• Develop comprehensive project plans covering timelines, budgets and resource allocation.
• Lead and coordinate a multidisciplinary team of construction professionals, subcontractors and suppliers.
• Manage subcontractor packages and ensure health and safety compliance on site.
• Oversee design information from RIBA Stage 3 to Stage 6, maintaining quality and regulatory standards.
• Control costs, monitor budgets, identify efficiencies and manage project risks.
• Maintain regular communication with stakeholders, providing clear updates and addressing concerns.
• Drive procurement activities, negotiate contracts and ensure regulatory compliance.

Required profile

• Degree in construction management, engineering or a related discipline.
• Proven experience delivering large commercial or industrial construction projects.
• Strong organisational and leadership abilities.
• Self‑motivated, personable and passionate about real‑estate development.
