Project Manager

About the role

SRG is seeking a Project Manager to join a growing, highly regulated, technology‑driven organisation in Scotland. The role will deliver complex, cross‑functional projects while adhering to strict design control and regulatory standards. It offers a hybrid working model after an initial training period.

Key responsibilities

• Lead planning, coordination and delivery of multiple projects simultaneously.
• Manage cross‑functional teams within a matrix environment.
• Develop and maintain project plans, ensuring timelines, budgets and deliverables are met.
• Chair project meetings and align technical teams and stakeholders.
• Oversee external suppliers and third‑party contributors.
• Monitor progress, identify and mitigate risks, issues and changes.
• Ensure all documentation complies with design control and regulatory requirements.
• Provide regular updates and formal reporting to senior leadership.
• Support programme‑level activities and continuous improvement initiatives.

Required profile

• Degree qualified in a scientific discipline or equivalent experience.
• Proven project management experience with ability to handle multiple projects.
• Experience leading cross‑functional teams in a matrix setting.
• Strong understanding of project planning, monitoring and delivery methodologies.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Highly organised, detail‑oriented and able to thrive in fast‑paced environments.
