Project Manager

About the role

Baltic Recruitment is seeking a Project Manager for OsecoElfab, a global manufacturer of engineered rupture discs and explosion venting solutions. The role is based in North Shields and involves leading major customer and EPC projects from order acceptance through to delivery and close‑out.

Key responsibilities

• Lead customer‑facing major project execution from order acceptance to delivery, documentation, shipment and close‑out.
• Serve as primary interface between OsecoElfab and the customer’s project team, EPC contractors, inspectors and third‑party stakeholders.
• Translate customer requirements into internal actions, schedules, responsibilities and communication plans.
• Develop and maintain project plans, milestone schedules, action trackers, risk registers and status reports.
• Coordinate activities across Commercial, Engineering, Quality, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Planning, Logistics and Finance.
• Ensure technical, quality, documentation, inspection, certification, testing, packaging, shipping and commercial requirements are met.
• Monitor progress against milestones, contractual commitments and deliverables, identifying and mitigating risks early.
• Manage project changes including scope, schedule, documentation and commercial variations.
• Support structured project reviews, progress meetings and formal close‑out reviews.
• Drive cross‑functional alignment to deliver customer requirements in a coordinated manner.

Required profile

• Proven ability to act as the main project interface with customers and multiple internal functions.
• Experience coordinating complex projects involving engineering, quality, supply chain and manufacturing teams.
• Strong capability to identify risks, constraints and bottlenecks and to implement mitigation actions.
• Excellent communication and documentation skills to maintain clear records and reports.
