Project Manager

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Project Manager to lead complex technical projects within a specialist engineering and manufacturing organisation based in Andover. The role offers full ownership of high‑value programmes, working across multidisciplinary teams to deliver on time, on budget and to the highest quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Manage projects throughout the full project lifecycle, from initiation to completion.
• Develop and maintain project schedules and delivery plans.
• Monitor performance against budgets, milestones and timelines.
• Manage customer relationships and stakeholder expectations.
• Identify, assess and mitigate project risks and issues.
• Coordinate internal teams and external suppliers to ensure successful delivery.
• Prepare and present progress reports to senior management.
• Drive continuous improvement and contribute to project‑management best practice.
• Support business growth through customer engagement and new project opportunities.

Required profile

• Proven experience managing projects from initiation through to delivery.
• Strong stakeholder and customer management skills.
• Ability to work independently and take ownership of outcomes.
• Hands‑on, proactive and solution‑focused mindset.
• Experience in engineering, manufacturing or other highly regulated environments.
• Excellent planning, organisational and communication abilities.
• Experience managing project budgets, reporting and risk.
• Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel when required.
• Ability to obtain and maintain appropriate security clearance.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Microsoft Project.
