Project Manager

About the role

TEKEVER is seeking a Project Manager to lead the delivery of complex projects and programmes for the UK Ministry of Defence (MOD). The role ensures cost, schedule, performance and safety objectives are met in line with MOD policy.

Key responsibilities

• Lead delivery through the CADMID/CADMIT lifecycle, aligning with DE&S governance.
• Establish and maintain programme baselines (cost, schedule, performance) and manage change control.
• Develop and maintain the Project Management Plan (PMP), Contract Master Schedule (CMS) and Contract Work Breakdown Structures (CWBS).
• Implement DE&S governance structures, including Project Boards, Working Groups and assurance reviews.
• Prepare and lead internal and external assurance activities such as IPA reviews, IBRs and safety audits.
• Ensure compliance with JSPs, Defence Standards and relevant regulatory frameworks.
• Provide accurate reporting to programme leads, senior leadership and customer stakeholders.
• Act as the primary interface between TEKEVER, DE&S, customer stakeholders and industry suppliers.
• Work closely with commercial colleagues to develop, negotiate and manage contracts and monitor supplier performance.

Required profile

• Proven experience delivering complex projects to the UK MOD or similar defence organisations.
• Strong understanding of MOD policy, CADMID/CADMIT processes and DE&S governance.
• Demonstrated ability to manage multi‑disciplinary teams and engage with senior defence stakeholders.
