Project Manager

About the role

Constructive Bio is a fast‑growing Cambridge‑based biotechnology company seeking a Project Manager to lead internal and collaborative projects, including Innovate UK‑funded initiatives and drug development programmes. The role involves coordinating cross‑functional teams, managing budgets, and ensuring compliance with grant and regulatory requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Work with cross‑functional teams to align project goals, milestones and funding objectives.
• Monitor progress, track expenditures and report status to senior leadership.
• Organise and lead regular project meetings, preparing agendas and updates.
• Identify risks and develop mitigation strategies.
• Lead Innovate UK‑funded projects, ensuring compliance and acting as primary contact.
• Manage therapeutic drug development projects through pre‑clinical stages and regulatory filings.
• Coordinate partnership agreements and collaborations with external stakeholders.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Biotechnology, Life Sciences or related field (or equivalent experience).
• Proven experience managing complex, multi‑stakeholder projects in biotech or pharma, including grant‑funded and drug development programmes.
• PMP certification or equivalent is highly desirable.
• Strong communication and organisational skills with ability to work with senior leadership.
