Project Manager – Major Refurbishment Programme

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead a major refurbishment programme within a live operational environment in Stansted, Essex. The role covers the full project lifecycle from tender through to completion, offering genuine influence over planning, delivery strategy and execution for a high‑value construction contract.

Key responsibilities

• Own project planning, programming and delivery across enabling works, MEP installations and infrastructure upgrades.
• Manage NEC3/NEC4 contracts, produce regular project reports and maintain programmes using Microsoft Project.
• Liaise with clients, consultants, subcontractors and supply‑chain partners to ensure alignment.
• Drive safety, quality and regulatory compliance throughout the project lifecycle.
• Control project risks, budgets and programme milestones, ensuring delivery on time and within budget.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years’ experience managing complex construction or infrastructure projects.
• Strong knowledge of NEC3 or NEC4 contract administration.
• Proven ability to build and manage project programmes from inception to completion.
• Excellent client‑facing and stakeholder management skills.
• Commercial awareness and a proactive, solutions‑focused attitude.
