Project Manager – Manufacturing (Engineering Projects)

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead large‑scale commissioning projects for a leading manufacturer of automation and food production equipment. Based at the UK headquarters, you will manage the full lifecycle of bespoke equipment from quotation through design, build and on‑site commissioning.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee supply of engineered equipment into production settings.
• Manage end‑to‑end project delivery – from initial quotation to final commissioning.
• Coordinate design, build and installation activities with internal teams and external suppliers.
• Maintain project schedules, budgets and quality standards.
• Travel to client sites as required, primarily on‑site Monday to Friday.

Required profile

• Background in manufacturing or engineering, with experience in design and applications.
• Proven project management experience in an engineering or manufacturing environment.
• Ability to commute to St Ives, Cambridgeshire (or work remotely on occasion with site visits).
