Project Manager – Pensions

About the role

An exciting opportunity for an experienced Project Manager to join the Change Team at Local Pensions Partnership. You will lead multiple key projects, delivering change initiatives across pension administration while working in a collaborative, customer‑focused environment.

Key responsibilities

• Lead project teams and manage the full project lifecycle to deliver outcomes on time and within budget.
• Identify and implement process design improvements focused on quality and efficiency.
• Build strong stakeholder relationships, capture business needs and deliver effective solutions.
• Act as the interface between business and IT, translating requirements into functional specifications and overseeing testing.
• Identify system improvement opportunities and balance competing demands.
• Produce clear management information and progress reports.
• Develop and maintain project plans, scope, timelines and documentation.
• Own project accountability across all stakeholders.
• Identify, mitigate and, where necessary, escalate risks and issues.
• Adapt plans and make decisions throughout the project lifecycle.

Required profile

• Proactive, self‑motivated individual able to manage multiple deadlines independently.
• Proven project management experience and qualifications, delivering projects on time and within budget.
• Strong stakeholder engagement skills at all organisational levels.
• Excellent problem‑solving and communication abilities.
