Project Manager – Qualitative Research

About the role

Canvas8 is seeking a commercially‑savvy Project Manager to lead participant recruitment and ensure flawless delivery of qualitative research projects. Based in our London office, you will act as the operational hub for both membership and bespoke consultancy streams, turning cultural insights into actionable strategies for leading brands.

Key responsibilities

• Design and manage screening criteria, oversee recruitment vendors, and handle participant onboarding for focus groups, ethnographies, and online communities.
• Develop and maintain comprehensive project plans, timelines, and budgets across multiple markets.
• Coordinate international logistics, including travel, venue booking, and fieldwork partner liaison.
• Serve as the primary liaison between internal researchers, global fieldwork partners, and clients, ensuring projects are delivered on time, on budget, and to high quality standards.
• Collaborate closely with senior teams to align recruitment strategies with overall research objectives.

Required profile

• Proven experience in qualitative recruitment or participant casting, preferably within an agency, research consultancy, or specialist casting environment.
• Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Excellent communication skills for guiding senior stakeholders and cross‑functional teams.
• Ability to work autonomously and make strategic decisions in a fast‑moving environment.
