Project Manager – Sales & Marketing (12‑month contract)

About the role

We are seeking a Project Manager to lead a global packaging initiative for a multinational consumer‑goods and personal‑care company. The role is a 12‑month contract, hybrid working from Walton Oaks, and starts as soon as possible.

Key responsibilities

• Define project goals, scope and deliverables with stakeholders and develop detailed plans, timelines and resource allocations.
• Coordinate internal teams and external vendors to ensure flawless execution of the packaging programme.
• Establish governance structures such as steering committees, set meeting cadences and manage escalation paths.
• Maintain comprehensive project documentation and version control using tools like SharePoint or Smartsheet.
• Map and engage key stakeholders, facilitate communication and act as the central point of contact.
• Allocate resources, manage scope changes, schedule and cost variations, and conduct risk management.
• Track performance against KPIs, provide early visibility of achievements and issues, and report to senior leadership.

Required profile

• Proven track record in project management, preferably within packaging or product innovation programmes.
• Experience leading cross‑functional, global teams and delivering projects on time and within budget.
• Strong ability to anticipate problems, resolve escalations and drive proactive planning.

Required skills

• Project planning and execution tools (e.g., MS Project, Smartsheet, SharePoint).
• Risk and issue management methodologies.
• Stakeholder management and governance frameworks.
