About the role

A global commodity trading business is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead technology delivery initiatives in London. The role focuses on managing software development projects using agile methodologies and the software development lifecycle (SDLC), rather than infrastructure work.

Key responsibilities

• Lead end‑to‑end delivery of technology projects within a trading environment.
• Coordinate onshore and offshore software engineering teams to ensure timely delivery.
• Apply agile practices and SDLC processes to drive project success.
• Manage stakeholder expectations and maintain clear communication across business units.
• Ensure product knowledge is applied to meet trading‑specific requirements.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a Project Manager in a trading or commodity‑trading organisation.
• Strong background in technology delivery across SDLC projects using agile methodologies.
• Experience working with both onshore and offshore development teams.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
