Project Manager – Tech Focus for Investment Bank

About the role

We are seeking a Project Manager with a strong technology background to support the Chief Strategy Officer at a fast‑growing investment bank in London. The successful candidate will help plan, coordinate and deliver strategic initiatives across the organisation while working closely with senior leaders.

Key responsibilities

• Support the CSO by coordinating and tracking projects and initiatives.
• Maintain multiple workstreams, ensuring milestones and actions are documented and monitored.
• Prepare reports, presentations and briefing materials for senior stakeholders.
• Liaise with internal teams to gather information and provide timely updates.
• Maintain project documentation registers and logs in line with company standards.
• Drive projects forward in the CSO’s absence.
• Contribute to the improvement of internal systems and processes.
• Support the rollout of new tools and platforms that enhance productivity.

Required profile

• Minimum two years’ experience in a similar project‑management role within a high‑growth, technology‑focused environment.
• Excellent organisational and multitasking abilities.
• Strong written and verbal communication with high attention to detail.
• Degree‑level education, preferably in mathematics, computer science or a related scientific field.
• Proactive, solution‑oriented and comfortable working in an ambiguous, fast‑paced setting.

Required skills

• Advanced PowerPoint and Excel proficiency.
• Familiarity with AI platforms such as Claude and ChatGPT.
• Experience using project‑tracking tools like Jira, Asana, Trello or MS Project.
• Data manipulation and visualisation capabilities.
