Project Manager Turbomachinery

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Project Manager to lead field‑service projects for a global leader in turbomachinery. The role involves managing projects from initiation through to close‑out, ensuring safe, on‑time and on‑budget delivery while supporting revenue growth in the assigned territory.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as the first point of contact for customers requiring service, spares, inspection, repair or upgrades.
• Coordinate and manage spares and service business for assigned accounts.
• Develop and issue quotations for services and technical support.
• Plan and schedule maintenance activities on turbomachinery equipment for field service teams.
• Prepare documentation, work instructions and risk assessments for safe execution of field activities.
• Ensure project execution complies with company policies, industry standards and regulatory requirements.
• Monitor project performance to guarantee safety, timeliness and budget adherence.
• Support regional growth strategies through budgeting, order intake and customer visits.

Required profile

• Mechanical Engineering degree or equivalent qualification.
• 5‑10 years of project management experience in an operational/service environment, or equivalent experience as a field service engineer.
• Proven experience working with turbomachinery and rotating equipment.
• Strong commercial awareness and experience in sales promotion and service delivery.
