Project Manager – Water & Process Projects

About the role

Join Trant Engineering as a Project Manager overseeing complex water and wastewater utility projects in the Reading and Thames Water region. You will be responsible for delivering projects on time, within budget and to the highest quality and safety standards.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and manage project plans, scope, schedules, budgets and resources.
• Coordinate engineering, design, procurement and site activities while ensuring compliance with safety, quality and regulatory standards.
• Monitor progress, manage risks, control costs and report variances to senior management.
• Lead stakeholder engagement, maintain client and subcontractor relationships, and resolve issues promptly.

Required profile

• NVQ/HND/HNC in Engineering, Construction or Project Management.
• Proven experience delivering engineering projects in water, energy or utilities sectors.
• Strong stakeholder management and team leadership abilities.

Required skills

• SMSTS certification.
• Knowledge of UK engineering standards and construction practices.
• Familiarity with NEC, JCT and FIDIC contracts.
• PRINCE2 or APM project management qualification.
