Project Officer – Renters Rights Implementation

About the role

The Project Officer will join a team of Project Directors, Managers and Officers to support the implementation of the Renters' Rights Act. You will provide specialist advice, manage complex customer issues and help shape service plans that align with strategic business goals.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver specialist support and advice on the Renters' Rights Act and Homelessness Reduction Act 2017.
• Analyse and evaluate information to produce advisory reports and recommendations.
• Manage escalated or complex customer issues within the project scope.
• Research developments in relevant legislation and translate findings into actionable documents.
• Maintain accurate project documentation and data management systems.

Required profile

• Experience and understanding of the Renters' Rights Act and Homelessness Reduction Act 2017.
• Proven project‑management experience in a large organisation, delivering on time, budget and quality.
• Ability to work with diverse communities and liaise with internal and external partners.
• Strong written and verbal communication, presentation and numeracy skills.

Required skills

• IT skills for data handling and reporting.
• Ability to set up and maintain filing systems.
• Organisational and coordination skills to manage workload with minimal supervision.
