Project Quality Coordinator

About the role

TechnipFMC is seeking a Project Quality Coordinator to join its Surface team in Altens, Aberdeen. The role supports project delivery by ensuring quality compliance across service, maintenance, refurbishment and on‑shore/off‑shore activities, aligning with company standards, client requirements and industry regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain compliance with quality and technical requirements for project delivery teams.
• Prepare and manage Quality and Inspection & Test Plans.
• Facilitate third‑party inspections and customer audits.
• Coordinate with service project managers, planners, workshops and inspectors to ensure understanding and execution of quality requirements.
• Identify, escalate and resolve non‑conformances, lead root‑cause analysis and drive corrective and preventive actions.
• Monitor Engineering Change Notices (ECNs) and collaborate with engineering on dispositions.
• Compile material review books (MRB) and Certificates of Conformity (COC) as required.
• Oversee equipment calibration and related requisitions.
• Support the QHSES Manager in routine quality and HSE activities and promote continuous improvement.
• Participate in site meetings, provide quality advice and register quality incidents and risks.

Required profile

• Experience in quality assurance or quality control within industrial or energy projects.
• Strong understanding of inspection, testing and compliance processes.
• Ability to lead root‑cause investigations and manage corrective actions.
• Familiarity with engineering change management and documentation.
• Good communication skills to work with multidisciplinary teams.
