Project Quantity Surveyor

About the role

Brandon James Ltd, a globally recognised construction consultancy, is looking for a Project Quantity Surveyor to join its Croydon office. The role will involve working on a diverse portfolio of residential, commercial, healthcare, education and infrastructure projects, providing cost management and procurement expertise from feasibility through to final account.

Key responsibilities

• Own cost management across multiple projects, ensuring financial control from early feasibility to final account.
• Prepare tender documentation, evaluate returns and support contractor appointments.
• Collaborate with clients, consultants and contractors, contributing to meetings and project strategy.
• Administer contracts, primarily under JCT, and support delivery against programme and budget expectations.

Required profile

• 3‑6 years’ experience in a consultancy or client‑side quantity surveying role.
• Proven ability to manage procurement processes and engage with project stakeholders.
• Strong knowledge of JCT contracts.
• Degree in Quantity Surveying or a related discipline; MRICS qualification or progress towards it is advantageous.
• Commercially aware, organised and confident in client‑facing situations.
