Project Quantity Surveyor

About the role

We are seeking a Project Quantity Surveyor to join a leading specialist engineering contractor in London. The role will provide full commercial and contract‑administration authority for one or multiple major projects, working closely with the Operational Leadership team.

Key responsibilities

• Maximise profit by managing and challenging the efficiency of the integrated in‑house delivery model.
• Identify and manage contractual and commercial risks and opportunities.
• Develop collaborative relationships with clients to meet mutual objectives and enhance reputation.
• Work with the Operational team to ensure accurate contract administration and fulfilment of responsibilities.
• Oversee commercial and contract administration for single large or several concurrent projects.

Required profile

• Proven track record in a similar senior quantity surveying role within the construction sector.
• Experience of self‑delivery models and leading profitable projects.
• Strong knowledge of NEC, JCT or bespoke contract forms.
• Excellent interpersonal, communication and people‑management skills.
• Structured, organised and able to deliver performance‑driven outcomes.
• Ambitious to grow the role within an expanding business.
