Project Support Manager – Defence Infrastructure

About the role

The Defence Infrastructure Organisation (DIO) is seeking a Project Support Manager to join the Major Programmes and Projects (MPP) Cyber & Specialist Operations Command (CSOC). You will support the delivery of complex capital infrastructure projects that enable the UK defence estate to operate sustainably.

Key responsibilities

• Provide day‑to‑day support to Project Managers across a portfolio of defence infrastructure projects.
• Assist the Senior Project Manager in establishing project controls, tracking performance, cost and schedule.
• Prepare and maintain regular project reports for internal and external stakeholders.
• Proactively manage the supply chain to ensure timely delivery of life‑cycle replacement or betterment outcomes.
• Work on‑site or in the office under a hybrid model, with at least 60% of time spent at the workplace.

Required profile

• UK national eligible for Developed Vetting and resident in the UK for the past ten years.
• Experience supporting large‑scale infrastructure projects, preferably within a defence or public sector environment.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a hybrid setting and manage multiple priorities.
