Projects Engineer - Managed Services

About the role

Our client, a leading IT Managed Services provider, is seeking a Projects Engineer to design and implement cloud, infrastructure and networking solutions for their customers. You will work on Azure, Microsoft 365, Hyper‑V, VMware and related technologies while delivering projects that meet high security standards such as Cyber Essentials.

Key responsibilities

• Design, configure and deploy Azure, M365, Hyper‑V and VMware solutions.
• Implement and maintain server, networking, TCP/IP, DHCP, DNS, VPN, router and switch configurations.
• Manage end‑to‑end project lifecycles, from requirements gathering to handover.
• Interact directly with clients, ensuring expectations are met or exceeded.
• Travel to client sites as required and maintain compliance with Cyber Essentials.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a Projects Engineer within a Managed Services environment.
• Strong client‑facing and interpersonal skills.
• Self‑motivated, able to work remotely and manage time effectively.
• Full UK driving licence and own vehicle for site visits.
