Projects Quality Manager

About the role

You will lead the creation, certification and delivery of a project‑focused Quality Management System (QMS) for a major capital programme at the Stanlow Manufacturing Complex. The role ensures full compliance with ISO 9001 and ISO 10005 and embeds quality assurance across EPC contractors, international suppliers and third‑party inspection bodies.

Key responsibilities

• Achieve and maintain ISO 9001 certification for project quality systems.
• Establish a lifecycle‑based Project Quality Management System (PrMO) and associated Quality Management Plans.
• Lead a risk‑based audit programme covering internal teams, EPC contractors and suppliers.
• Act as lead internal auditor and quality authority for clients, regulators and certification bodies.
• Manage non‑conformance processes, root‑cause analysis and corrective actions.
• Oversee inspection, NDT and dimensional compliance across global supply chains and module yards.
• Validate third‑party inspectors and notified bodies, including PED requirements.
• Drive quality performance reporting and continuous improvement across EPC delivery.

Required profile

• Proven experience leading quality systems on large, high‑value projects in energy, oil & gas, hydrogen or similar regulated sectors.
• Demonstrated ability to build and implement ISO‑aligned quality systems in multi‑contractor environments.
• Strong oversight of both project delivery and supply‑chain quality.

Required skills

• ISO 9001 implementation and auditing (Lead Auditor qualification).
• ISO 10005 knowledge.
• EPC quality deliverables, including Inspection and Test Plans (ITP) and documentation control.
• Non‑destructive testing (NDT) and dimensional compliance.
• PED requirements.
• Lean and Six Sigma methodologies.
