About the role
We are seeking a detail‑oriented Proofreader to support a leading education and assessment organisation on a six‑week temporary assignment. The role involves reviewing paper‑based assessment materials to ensure they are error‑free and ready for publication.
Key responsibilities
- Proofread assessment documents through multiple review stages.
- Identify and correct spelling, grammar, punctuation and formatting errors.
- Maintain consistent style and presentation across all materials.
- Verify that all amendments are accurately implemented.
- Coordinate final proofing steps and meet publication deadlines.
- Liaise with internal teams and external reviewers as required.
Required profile
- Proven experience in proofreading or editorial support.
- Exceptional attention to detail.
- Strong written English and grammar skills.
- Ability to spot inconsistencies quickly and accurately.
- Experience handling multiple document versions.
