Property Claims Technician – Domestic Claims Handler

About the role
As a Domestic Property Claims Handler you will be the primary point of contact for policyholders reporting property damage. You will manage each claim from the initial notification through to settlement, ensuring a smooth and supportive experience for customers.
Key responsibilities
- Manage and process domestic property claims efficiently and accurately.
- Guide policyholders through the claims process, providing clear and helpful communication.
- Investigate claims to determine liability and policy coverage.
- Collaborate with adjusters, contractors, and other stakeholders to achieve timely resolution.
- Prepare detailed and accurate claim reports.
- Negotiate settlements in line with company policies and procedures.
- Maintain comprehensive, up‑to‑date records of all claims handled.
