Property Inspector

About the role

As a Property Inspector you will safeguard the standards, safety and presentation of developments across Southampton, Bournemouth, Portsmouth and surrounding areas. Working hybrid with a strong on‑site focus, you will typically complete 4–6 inspections each day, supported by a dedicated property management team.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct 4–6 structured site inspections daily, documenting findings with photos and clear actions.
• Check health and safety compliance, including communal areas, fire safety measures and access routes.
• Raise, prioritise and track maintenance works with contractors and on‑site teams.
• Liaise with site staff, contractors and residents to understand issues and provide updates.
• Follow up on remedial actions to ensure timely completion and quality outcomes.
• Prepare concise reports and update internal systems to keep stakeholders informed.

Required profile

• Experience in property management, site inspections or maintenance.
• Practical, hands‑on maintenance mindset and enjoyment of working on the road.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Strong organisational skills to balance urgent and preventive checks.
