Property Inventory Clerk

About the role

The Property Inventory Clerk will conduct property inspections and inventory reports for tenant check‑ins, check‑outs and mid‑term checks. The role involves a mix of independent field work and collaboration with the property management team.

Key responsibilities

• Arrange and book 8‑10 property inspections or 4‑6 inventories each day and confirm visits prior to attending.
• Collect and return keys from local offices, conduct thorough inspections of external, communal and internal conditions, and ensure compliance with legislation and risk standards.
• Complete inventory reports, obtain approvals, and communicate any maintenance issues to the property manager.
• Submit reports to landlords and tenants with written summaries and follow‑up calls when issues are noted.

Required profile

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability and confidence to work independently.
• Strong organisational, time‑management and attention‑to‑detail abilities.
• Full UK driving licence.
