About the role

We are seeking an experienced Property Litigation Lawyer to join a top‑tier Legal 500 law firm based in East London. The successful candidate will manage a diverse caseload of contentious property matters, working closely with a supportive team and senior partners.

Key responsibilities

• Handle residential and commercial landlord‑tenant disputes, including possession, rent arrears and lease enforcement.
• Advise on boundary disputes, leasehold issues and other contentious property matters.
• Prepare and negotiate settlements, draft pleadings, and represent clients in court.
• Maintain regular communication with clients such as landlords, tenants, developers, managing agents and leaseholders.
• Develop and manage your own caseload with appropriate supervision.

Required profile

• Qualified solicitor or legal executive with several years of experience in property litigation.
• Proven ability to work independently and manage a varied portfolio of cases.
• Strong analytical and advocacy skills with a client‑focused approach.

Required skills

• In‑depth knowledge of landlord‑tenant law and contentious property practice.
• Experience in drafting pleadings, motions and settlement agreements.
