Property Litigation Solicitor (6+ PQE)

About the role

The Legists, a Legal 500‑ranked firm, is seeking an experienced Property Litigation Solicitor to join its specialist team in Hertfordshire. You will handle complex commercial and residential property disputes, delivering commercially‑focused advice from instruction through to trial.

Key responsibilities

• Manage a varied caseload covering landlord‑tenant disputes, lease renewals, dilapidations, service‑charge issues, possession claims and restrictive covenants.
• Advise on telecoms matters, lease‑hold enfranchisement, lease extensions, boundary disputes, rights of light and other development‑related issues.
• Work closely with the wider Real Estate team to provide seamless support on complex development matters.
• Develop business through proactive networking and practice‑growth activities.

Required profile

• Minimum 6 years post‑qualification experience in contentious property litigation.
• Proven track record of managing matters from instruction to trial.
• Strong commercial awareness and excellent client‑relationship skills.
• Ability to deliver pragmatic, solution‑focused advice.
