Property Litigator (2+ years PQE)

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Property Litigation Solicitor to join our specialist team in Cambridge. The role involves managing a diverse caseload of residential and commercial property disputes, with a focus on landlord‑tenant matters.

Key responsibilities

• Independently handle defended service charge, ground rent, and possession matters across residential and commercial properties.
• Provide expert legal advice on breach of covenant issues and general landlord‑tenant matters.
• Manage court and tribunal deadlines, ensuring high‑quality case management.
• Assess claims, analyse strengths and weaknesses of defences and counterclaims, and advise clients accordingly.
• Mentor and supervise junior team members, delivering training sessions and supporting their professional development.
• Maintain regular client communication and reporting throughout case progression.
• Contribute to business development efforts and support the growth of the practice.

Required profile

• Qualified solicitor with 2‑3+ years post‑qualification experience (PQE) in property litigation.
• Demonstrated experience in landlord‑tenant disputes, service charge and ground rent matters.
• Strong ability to manage a caseload independently and meet court/tribunal deadlines.
• Proven track record of mentoring junior staff and delivering training.
• Excellent client communication and business development skills.
