About the role
An established Further Education college in Buckinghamshire is seeking a Property Maintenance Operations Lecturer for its Construction department. You will help launch a new programme, delivering both practical workshops and theory sessions to learners and apprentices aspiring to careers in property maintenance.
Key responsibilities
- Deliver high‑quality teaching across Property Maintenance Operations programmes.
- Plan, prepare and deliver engaging lessons and practical workshop activities.
- Monitor, track and record learner progress, attendance and achievement.
- Provide flexible assessment opportunities and constructive feedback.
- Develop schemes of work, lesson plans and learning resources.
- Support the development and implementation of new programmes within the curriculum area.
- Contribute to curriculum planning, quality improvement and learner success.
- Prepare learners for progression into employment, apprenticeships or further study.
- Promote safe working practices and professional standards throughout delivery.
Required profile
- Industry experience within Property Maintenance or a relevant construction trade.
- Level 3 qualification in a relevant construction discipline.
- Teaching qualification or willingness to work towards one.
- Strong practical and theoretical knowledge of maintenance activities.
- Excellent communication and organisational skills.
- Passion for supporting learners and developing future construction professionals.

- Salary £37,200 – £41,880 per annum
