Property Maintenance Team Leader

About the role

Rocasa Consulting Limited is seeking a Property Maintenance Team Leader to lead a team of technicians delivering maintenance and repairs across void and occupied properties in Milton Keynes. The role combines hands‑on multi‑trade work with day‑to‑day leadership, ensuring high‑quality service and a strong customer experience.

Key responsibilities

• Lead, schedule and manage technician workloads to meet KPIs, productivity targets and customer needs.
• Deliver safe, efficient and cost‑effective property maintenance services, including multi‑trade remedial work.
• Set and maintain performance standards in line with Sage Homes policies and partner requirements.
• Collaborate with schedulers and technicians to maximise resource utilisation and achieve first‑time fixes.
• Conduct technical property inspections, audits of stock, vans and vehicles, and provide expert guidance.
• Uphold Health & Safety standards, participate in the out‑of‑hours rota and act professionally at all times.

Required profile

• Proven experience managing technicians and contractors in a customer‑facing environment.
• Familiarity with scheduling systems and housing/repairs management systems.
• Background as a multi‑trade operative with knowledge of carpentry, plumbing, plastering, bricklaying, roofing, flooring, tiling and groundworks.
• Level 2 trade qualification and SMSTS certification.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong understanding of building regulations, health & safety legislation and British Standards.
• Clean UK driving licence.
