Property Management Accountant

About the role

We are looking for a Property Management Accountant to join the Arora Group Property Finance Team in the Heathrow Airport area. The role is fully office‑based and will support the preparation of monthly management accounts, cash flow forecasts and annual budgets for our hotel and retail portfolio.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare monthly management accounts for allocated group companies, including profit & loss, balance sheet and cash flow statements.
• Review trial balances, perform variance analysis and produce clear commentary.
• Validate property agent data, ensuring rental income and invoicing align with lease terms.
• Maintain strong balance‑sheet control over property stock, work‑in‑progress, debtors and creditors.
• Produce month‑end packs and business forecasts to aid management decision‑making.
• Liaise with functional managers, especially the Property Division, to reflect business changes in financial reporting.
• Prepare weekly cash‑flow forecasts, annual budgets and periodic compliance reports.

Required profile

• Qualified CIMA, ACCA or ACA (strong preference).
• Significant experience in management accounting, preferably within property, retail or asset‑based businesses.
• Ability to work quickly with large, detailed data sets while maintaining high attention to detail.
• Experience with property service‑charge accounting and interpreting lease agreements.
• Proactive, independent and able to manage competing priorities under pressure.
• Strong written and oral communication skills with stakeholder‑partnering experience.
