Property Manager – Commercial Portfolio (Bristol)

About the role

MCR Property Group is looking for a Property Manager to oversee a diverse commercial property portfolio across the South West, primarily in Bristol and Swindon. The role focuses on delivering excellent building management, maximising asset performance and maintaining strong occupier relationships.

Key responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of commercial properties.
• Maximise asset income streams for the company.
• Conduct regular property inspections to ensure proactive management.
• Coordinate reactive and planned repairs and maintenance works.
• Ensure compliance with all landlord and tenant lease obligations.
• Appoint contractors and liaise with estates administrators and building managers.
• Carry out site visits to investigate and oversee maintenance issues and repairs.
• Produce inventories and schedules of condition.
• Maintain regular communication with landlords and tenants.
• Build strong working relationships with occupiers.
• Stay informed on current property market conditions and legislation.
• Collect rents and collaborate with finance to recover outstanding debt.

Required profile

• Proven experience managing commercial property portfolios.
• Strong understanding of landlord and tenant lease obligations.
• Ability to coordinate repairs and maintenance activities.
• Good knowledge of current property market conditions and relevant legislation.
• Effective communication with landlords, tenants and contractors.
• Capability to manage rent collection and debt recovery processes.
