Property Manager

About the role

Our independent client is seeking an experienced Property Manager to oversee a portfolio of rental properties in South East England. You will be responsible for managing day‑to‑day operations, coordinating maintenance, and ensuring compliance with all relevant legislation.

Key responsibilities

• Lead team meetings and delegate tasks to ensure efficient workload management.
• Coordinate maintenance activities and maintain strong relationships with contractors.
• Implement new procedures and improve existing processes.
• Handle section notices (21 & 8), carry out property inspections, and manage complaints.
• Maintain policies and procedures in line with company standards and legislation.
• Support the team as needed and refer business across departments to maximise opportunities.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years’ experience managing a team of Property Managers.
• At least 3 years of hands‑on Property Management experience.
• Intermediate computer literacy and experience with Property Management software.
• Full, valid driving licence.
• Ability to manage own workload and prioritize tasks effectively.

Required skills

• ALTO CFP professional qualification.
• ARLA/MARLA accreditation (strong advantage).
• Proficiency with Property Management software packages.

What we offer

• Full‑time permanent role, Monday‑Friday 9:00‑17:00 with occasional Saturdays.
• Salary between £30,000 and £35,000 per annum, dependent on experience.
