Property Manager

About the role

We are seeking a Property Manager to take full ownership of a portfolio of residential developments across Birmingham and the surrounding area. Working primarily from home, you will ensure a high standard of service, maintain strong client relationships and protect long‑term asset value.

Key responsibilities

• Take full ownership of a residential portfolio, delivering consistent high‑quality service.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, residents, RMCs and RTMs.
• Manage budgets, work closely with accounts teams and ensure accurate financial control.
• Source, appoint and oversee contractors, guaranteeing works meet standards and cost targets.
• Ensure compliance with health & safety legislation and industry best practice.
• Handle complaints and issues promptly, resolving them effectively.
• Identify improvement opportunities and proactively manage risk across the portfolio.

Required profile

• Excellent organisational ability and sound judgement.
• Confidence in managing clients, residents and contractors.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Ability to work independently while coordinating with internal teams.

Required skills

• Knowledge of health and safety legislation and industry best practice.
• Experience in budget management and financial reporting.
• Familiarity with contractor procurement and performance monitoring.
