Property Manager

About the role

You will join a privately‑owned property investment firm with a 70‑year heritage, based in North London but operating a portfolio of residential assets. The role is office‑based in Bournemouth, Monday to Friday, 9 am‑6 pm, and focuses on managing the full tenancy lifecycle of vacant flats.

Key responsibilities

• Market vacant flats and attract new tenants.
• Liaise with tenants on maintenance issues, organise timely repairs and handle ad‑hoc tenancy matters.
• Ensure rent is paid on time, chase arrears and serve notices when required.
• Attend court proceedings for rent recovery if necessary.
• Coordinate with utility companies and manage deposit returns, disputes and deductions.
• Arrange and oversee maintenance works, including full refurbishments.
• Conduct regular property visits and organise repair estimates for landlords.
• Manage check‑in and check‑out inventories.
• Negotiate lease renewals, prepare paperwork and verify references.
• Authorise contractor invoices and maintain accurate records.
