Property Manager

About the role

Join a respected independent estate agency in Hertfordshire as a Property Manager. You will oversee a portfolio of residential properties, delivering proactive service to landlords and tenants throughout the tenancy lifecycle.

Key responsibilities

• Manage residential properties from tenancy start to end.
• Serve as the main point of contact for landlords and tenants.
• Coordinate repairs and maintenance with contractors and suppliers.
• Arrange and conduct property inspections.
• Review check‑in and check‑out reports and follow up on actions.
• Monitor compliance requirements such as Gas Safety, EICR and EPC certificates.
• Keep landlords informed of property matters and maintenance recommendations.
• Handle tenant enquiries, complaints and tenancy issues professionally.
• Process property‑related administration and maintain accurate records.
• Manage contractor performance to ensure high‑standard work.

Required profile

• Minimum two years’ experience in residential property management or lettings.
• Strong understanding of the UK lettings process and landlord/tenant responsibilities.
• Excellent communication and customer‑service skills.
• Strong organisational and time‑management abilities.
• Ability to prioritise and manage a busy workload.
• Professional, proactive and solution‑focused approach.

Required skills

• Proficiency with property management software systems.
• Experience using property management CRM platforms.
