Property Manager – Loughton

About the role

Our client, a multi‑award‑winning independent estate agency, is seeking a focused and highly organised Property Manager to join their team in Loughton. You will be responsible for managing the day‑to‑day administration of residential lettings, ensuring a high standard of service for both landlords and tenants.

Key responsibilities

• Liaise with tenants and landlords, handling enquiries and building relationships.
• Chase outstanding works and coordinate contractor appointments.
• Organise gas and electrical safety certificates, EPCs and other statutory documentation.
• Arrange tenancy extensions, renewals and new lettings.
• Conduct property inspections and manage inventory checks.
• Oversee arrears, deposit returns, dilapidations and dispute administration.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance and repair activities.

Required profile

• Minimum 1 year experience in residential property management or lettings.
• Excellent attention to detail and strong organisational abilities.
• Proactive, solution‑focused attitude with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong communication skills and a commitment to delivering outstanding customer service.

Required skills

• Good knowledge of UK housing legislation and safety regulations (gas, electrical, EPC).
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a busy environment.

What we offer

• Basic salary £26,000 – £30,000 per year.
• Full‑time permanent role, Monday‑Friday 9am‑6pm.
