Property Pricing Actuary

About the role

The Pricing Actuary will join a fast‑growing insurance business, supporting a specialist underwriting division focused on property risks. You will provide actuarial pricing expertise, develop pricing tools and help ensure robust, data‑driven pricing decisions.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain actuarial pricing models and tools for property risk portfolios.
• Conduct portfolio and transactional analyses, monitoring rate changes and price adequacy.
• Prepare and present pricing reports to underwriting committees and senior stakeholders.
• Collaborate with underwriters, claims, and data teams to secure high‑quality data.
• Train underwriting teams on pricing methodology and support process improvement initiatives.
• Contribute to broader actuarial projects such as business planning and strategic analysis.

Required profile

• FIA qualification with solid pricing experience in insurance or reinsurance.
• Strong analytical mindset and commercial awareness.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
• Excellent communication skills for interacting with senior stakeholders.
