Property Solicitor

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Property Solicitor to join a growing law firm’s property team. The role involves managing a varied caseload of commercial and residential property matters for a loyal client base of individuals, investors, developers and businesses.

Key responsibilities

• Handle freehold and leasehold sales and purchases, commercial acquisitions and disposals.
• Manage landlord and tenant matters, lease negotiations, renewals and assignments.
• Oversee refinancing, secured lending transactions and transfers of equity.
• Deal with property development, investment matters, title investigations and due diligence.
• Draft and negotiate contracts, leases, transfers and related documentation.
• Coordinate transactions from instruction through to completion and post‑completion, liaising with clients, agents, lenders and other professionals.

Required profile

• Qualified solicitor with at least 2 years post‑qualification experience in commercial and/or residential property.
• Strong technical knowledge across a broad range of property matters and ability to manage a mixed caseload independently.
• Excellent client care, relationship management and organisational skills.
• Commercially minded with a pragmatic approach to problem solving.
• Understanding of regulatory compliance, AML requirements and risk management procedures.

Required skills

• Proficiency with case management systems.
• Advanced use of Microsoft Office.
