Protection Advisor – Mortgage Brokerage

About the role

Our client is an established mortgage brokerage in Warrington that provides clear, honest mortgage and protection advice across the UK. They are seeking an experienced Protection Advisor to help clients secure the right personal protection cover alongside their mortgage and financial needs.

Key responsibilities

• Provide expert advice on Life, Critical Illness, Family Income Benefit and Income Protection policies.
• Conduct detailed client fact‑finds to identify protection needs.
• Recommend suitable products from a panel of leading insurers.
• Manage a pipeline of new and existing clients, ensuring timely policy completions.
• Liaise with mortgage advisers to maximise protection opportunities on mortgage cases.
• Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with FCA and company standards.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships through excellent communication.
• Generate new protection opportunities, including via introducers.

Required profile

• Previous experience as a Protection Adviser, Insurance Adviser or similar role.
• Strong understanding of personal protection products and providers.
• Excellent communication and relationship‑building skills.
• Highly organised with attention to detail.
• Confident working to performance targets and a team player.
• CeMAP or equivalent qualification is desirable but not essential.
